Biography

Fumi Suzuki & The Loopers is an emerging band formed by 6 musicians and friends with a long career in the music world, who interpret the compositions of the Catalan singer-songwriter of Canadian and Japanese origin Fumi Suzuki.
The band has been active for 10 months, in which they have performed 6 live performances, such as in the cycle “Vespres d’Estiu” at Casal Mas Guinardó and “Música al Parc Vallmora” at the Masnou City Council. In the coming months there will be other live performances such as “Veus” at the Vil·la Florida Civic Center or the “Endofest” festival in Premià de Dalt.

The band is formed by Anna Casas (Violin), Margarita Griesmer (Voice and sampler), Berta Gómez (cello), Txapu (Voice and guitar), Isaac Martínez (percussion), Fumi Suzuki (Voice and violin).

The songs talk about everything: thoughts of all kinds (some serious and others not so much); stories lived in the first or third person; dedications in the form of a melody… each and every one of them with elaborate and pampered arrangements, and at the same time merged during the creation process with the trajectory of each of the band’s members.
We have had a very good response to our live shows, with a diverse and intergenerational audience, which has given us very good feedback both in the post-concerts and on social networks, many of them repeating in various performances.
